Thanks for visiting my website!

I am Seonghoon Kim, a research fellow at the Sustainable and Green Finance Institute (SGFIN) at the National University of Singapore.

I have earned a PhD in Environmental Science and Management from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Prior to that, I obtained my MS in Business Strategy and BA/BS in Geography/Environmental Studies from Seoul National University.

My research focuses specifically on Corporate Environmental Management and more broadly on Business Sustainability.

Supported by SGFIN, my ongoing research projects aim to establish a sustainable ecosystem for corporate environmental sustainability, using a systematic approach to explore how key stakeholders—such as firms, project developers, and government authorities or policymakers—shape a virtuous cycle that enables corporations to design more effective environmental strategies.
